Putin and Pashinyan discuss Kazakhstan, Nagorno-Karabakh

YEREVAN, January 12. /ARKA/. Russian President Vladimir Putin held a telephone conversation with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on Wednesday, the Kremlin press service reported.
It said in view of Armenia's chairmanship in the CSTO, they had an exchange of views on the course of the CSTO peacekeeping operation in Kazakhstan. Effective coordinated actions of the peacekeeping contingent contributing to the normalization of the situation were noted.
"The current situation around Nagorno-Karabakh and some issues of implementation of the agreements recorded in the statements of the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenia dated November 9, 2020, January 11 and November 26, 2021 were discussed," the Kremlin press service said. Putin and Pashinyan were said also to have agreed on continuing contacts at various levels. -0-
