YEREVAN, January 15. /ARКА/. On Wednesday, Sergey Kopyrkin, the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Armenia, was summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in connection with the broadcast of the program "Vesti Nedeli" on the All-Russian State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company (VGTRK). This was reported by the ARKA news agency.

According to the press service of Armenia's Foreign Ministry, the January 12, 2025, edition of "Vesti Nedeli" aired "artificially generated narratives aimed at undermining the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Armenia."

During the meeting, the Ambassador was handed a formal note of protest.-0-
