YEREVAN, November 14. /ARKA/. The Russian Defense Ministry said Russian peacekeeping troops deployed in Nagorno-Karabakh reported ceasefire violations by Azerbaijani troops in the Askeran region.

According to the information bulletin of the Russian Defense Ministry, at 3:30 p.m. November 12, Azerbaijani troops used small arms to fire from their post at a local resident who was working on his land plot 1.8 km east of Khramort village.

‘As a result of the shooting the local man was slightly wounded, his tractor was slightly damaged," the bulletin says.

It notes that Russian peacekeepers and the Azerbaijani side are conducting joint investigations into the incident.

Over the past 10 days there were two reports of shooting by Azerbaijanis at local farmers in Nagorno-Karabakh. Both incidents took place near the village of Khramort, the tractors were damaged and one local resident was injured. --0--
