Top French diplomat arrives in Armenia

YEREVAN, November 27. /ARKA/. State Secretary of the French Foreign Ministry Jean-Baptiste Lemoine will arrive in Yerevan today, the press service of the French Embassy in Armenia told Novosti-Armenia news agency.
The Embassy said the visit is connected with the delivery of French humanitarian aid to Armenia.
According to an embassy representative, within the framework of the two-day visit Jean-Baptiste Lemoine will have meetings with the political leadership of Armenia.
Earlier, the French Embassy informed Novosti-Armenia that a well-known footballer of Armenian origin Yuri Djorkaeff will also arrive with humanitarian aid.
The French Ambassador to Armenia Jonathan Lacote said in a tweet that that France has launched a mechanism to provide assistance to the population affected by the conflict in Karabakh by mobilizing state resources, associations, humanitarian organizations, corporate funds, and hospitals. As a result, humanitarian aid was collected, which will be delivered to Armenia aboard two flights on November 22 and 27. –0--
