Two MPS from ruling party resign to take up other jobs

Two members of Armenia’s National Assembly from the ruling Civil Contract party of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan have submitted resignation letters.

YEREVAN, January 4. /ARKA/. Two members of Armenia’s National Assembly from the ruling Civil Contract party of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan have submitted resignation letters.
They are Sedrak Tevonyan and Sergey Movsisyan, according to the National Assembly’s official website.
According to the pro-government daily Haykakan Zhamanak (Armenian Time), Sergey Movsisyan is set to become governor of Aragatsotn province.
"The decision was made by my political team and I have accepted it," the newspaper quoted Movsisyan as saying.
Tevanyan told the newspaper that he might take up another job, but did not elaborate. -0-
