Armenia’s Central Electoral Commission replaced newly appointed minister-head of government staff David Harutiunyan and minister of economy Karen Chshmarityan in the parliament with Gagik Melikyan and Vahram Mkrtchyan who were the next in the proportional list of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA).

Two new MPs replace deputies appointed as ministers in Armenia

YEREVAN, April 28. /ARKA/. Armenia’s Central Electoral Commission replaced newly appointed minister-head of government staff David Harutiunyan and minister of economy Karen Chshmarityan in the parliament with Gagik Melikyan and Vahram Mkrtchyan who were the next in the proportional list of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA).

Gagik Melikyan was member of parliament in 1999-2012 and secretary of the party faction.

Vahram Mkrtchyan headed the Liberal-democratic union that merged with the RPA in 2012. –0--
