United Kingdom's newly appointed Ambassador to Armenia John Gallagher presented today his credentials to President Armen Sarkissian, the presidential press service reported.

YEREVAN, April 1. /ARKA/. United Kingdom's newly appointed Ambassador to Armenia John Gallagher presented today his credentials to President Armen Sarkissian, the presidential press service reported.

The Ambassador was quoted as saying that he and his team expect close cooperation for the benefit of deepening and strengthening of relations between Armenia and Great Britain, and also conveyed the greetings of the Queen of Great Britain to the President.

The President expressed confidence that the Ambassador will make every effort to advance the Armenian-British agenda.

Attaching importance to the full use of the potential of mutual partnership, Sarkissian and Gallagher singled out economy, science, education, and artificial intelligence as promising areas of cooperation.

“The two countries can also work together in the fight against international challenges, including the coronavirus and climate change,” the presidential press service said. -0-
