Russia’s Voronezh International Airport will resume its cooperation with Yerevan on October 14, 2016 – it will cooperate with Armenia Aircompany, RIA-Voronezh Airport press office reported on Saturday.

YEREVAN, August 29. /ARKA/. Russia’s Voronezh International Airport will resume its cooperation with Yerevan on October 14, 2016 – it will cooperate with Armenia Aircompany, RIA-Voronezh Airport press office reported on Saturday.
Regular flights Voronezh-Yerevan-Voronezh will be operated twice a week – on Tuesday and Friday.
Passengers will be carried by Boeing 737-500.
Armenia Aircompany, based on Yerevan’s Zvartnots International Airport, was established in 2015 and started operating on April 21, 2016. This is the only air company in the country to operate flights to CIS countries and Europe.
Earlier, the Voronezh International Airport authorities have repeatedly tried to establish air communication with Yerevan.
“Flights were demanded, but every time the carriers faced various problems that forces them to wrapped up their programs,” the airport’s press office reported.
On March 17, 2016, Voronez started operating direct flight to Yerevan via Grozny Avia, a Chechen air company, but a few months later the flights were ceased on the carrier’s initiative. --0----
