Yerevan confirms support for South Caucasus dialogue on Tbilisi platform

YEREVAN, January 31. /ARKA/. Armenia is interested in launching a trilateral dialogue of South Caucasus countries, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan said in an interview with Armenpress news agency.
"Armenia shows great interest in launching a trilateral dialogue among South Caucasus countries. We are considering a possible Tbilisi platform in the area of regional trilateral discussions rather than bilateral Armenian-Azerbaijani meetings. The idea of a meeting of Armenian and Georgian Prime Ministers with Azerbaijani President is now circulating," Mirzoyan said.
He noted that the Armenian side has expressed its readiness for such a meeting, but it does not look promising, as the sides cannot even agree on a simple joint statement expressing commitment to eliminate hate speech. -0-
