Armenia’s prime-minister Tigran Sargsyan suggested the Executive Director of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) carrying out an investigation in Karabakh to reject Azerbaijan’s accusations of drug transit through Karabakh.

YEREVAN, October 23. /ARKA/. Armenia’s prime-minister Tigran Sargsyan suggested the Executive Director of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) carrying out an investigation in Karabakh to reject Azerbaijan’s accusations of drug transit through Karabakh.
At Tuesday’s meeting Sargsyan drew Fedotov’s attention to the fact that Azerbaijan is misinforming when it says Nagorno-Karabakh is a transit area for drug trafficking. These accusations are groundless, he said.
The prime-minister said Armenia is interested in implementation of various joint projects to combat crime and drug trafficking.
Fedotov, in his turn, said Armenia is one of the key and reliable partners of the UNO in the region and briefed the prime-minister on the programs scheduled for implementation together with the Armenian side. –0--
