YEREVAN, August 31. /ARKA/. Armenia’s Weather Service said today that no rains are expected in the country on August 31, September 1-2 and 4.

Short rains with thunderstorms and hails are expected on September 3 afternoon in some parts of the country, it said. The wind will be southwest with gusts up to 5-10 m /s. During the thunderstorm, the wind is expected to increase with gusts up to 18-23 m/s.

The air temperature will gradually rise by 1-2 degrees today and drop by 9-11 degrees starting from September 3-4.

In the capital Yerevan on September 3 afternoon the temperatures are expected to drop to 28-30 degrees from the current 38-40 degrees. -0-
