YEREVAN, June 23. /ARKA/. On Monday, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Georgian Interior Minister Gelar Geladze discussed cooperation in the field of migration, joint steps in the fight against crime and drug trafficking.

The prime minister welcomed Geladze's visit to Armenia and congratulated him on his appointment to the responsible post, expressing hope that during Geladze's tenure, cooperation between the law enforcement agencies of the two countries will become more active and effective. He stressed that the Armenian government will make every effort to achieve this goal, according to the press service of the RA government.

The Georgian interior minister noted the importance of the centuries-old friendship and close cooperation between the two countries in the interests of ensuring peace and stability in the region.

Details of the discussions between the Armenian and Georgian interior ministers have been released. It is reported that issues of bilateral cooperation and common challenges were discussed.-0-
