YEREVAN, July 9./ARKA/. Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan attended Saturday the ceremony of opening of new building for Yerevan Police Central Department, the president’s office reported.

The President of Armenia toured around the new building, familiarized with the accomplished works and conditions created for the staff. The building and offices are equipped with necessary furniture and devices, a modern system of communication, a duty station fully set for operational activities, a hall for meetings and consultations and other facilities

It was noted that the new building makes it possible to provide improved services to the citizens, upgrade working conditions for the Police staff, supply the Police with the required material and technical devices, and ensure the performance of the Police duties in line with contemporary methods.

Police considers the opening of the new building as an another step towards making reforms in the system.—0-
