Armenia to extend 50 thousand drams support program for Nagorno-Karabakh refugees

YEREVAN, March 12. /ARKA/. The Armenian government will continue providing Nagorno-Karabakh refugees with 50,000 dram monthly assistance, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said today.
The 40,000 dram assistance is provided for each family member to pay apartment rent and 10,000 drams to pay utility bills.
"At least we will extend it until the end of the year. At the end of the year we will think about what to do next," he said.
Referring to the government-subsidized housing program, Pashinyan noted that if it involves only Karabakh refugees it would trigger tensions in society.
"There are Armenian citizens with the same problem. We want to develop a program that will be available to Armenian citizens as well," he stressed.-0-
