YEREVAN, October 23. /ARKA/. The chapters of the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund in France and Germany and the local Armenian communities have collected and sent to Armenia 25 tons of humanitarian aid, the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund said. It said the bulk of the humanitarian aid consists of medicines and medical equipment.
"This humanitarian step on the part of the Armenian communities of France and Germany is another act of helping by the Diaspora to the homeland at this difficult moment," the Fund said.
This is already the third delivery of aid organized by the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund. Earlier, through the efforts of the Fund's partner, Armenia Fund Inc, two flights with humanitarian aid with over 150 tons of humanitarian aid arrived from the United States to Armenia. American Armenian doctors also arrived to help their colleagues.
“Hundreds of thousands of Armenians continue to participate in the nationwide fundraising, which has already raised more than $140 million,” the Fund said.
On September 27, the day when the units of the Azerbaijani armed forces attacked Artsakh along the entire line of contact, a nationwide campaign entitled "We and our borders, everything for Artsakh" was launched. -0-
