YEREVAN, August 28. /ARKA/. An Armenian daily ‘Hraparak’ (Square) claims in today’s issue that education and science minister Araik Harutyunyan, who is having traditional meetings with school principals ahead of a new schooling year across the country, humiliates the latter’s dignity, calling them "falsifiers of elections."
The daily says during the latest such meeting the principals revolted, when the minister called them ‘election falsifiers.’
"It turns out that in Armenia there is someone who protects the rights of children, their parents, the teachers, but the most defenseless are the school principals, who are being discredited by the minister," the newspaper writes.
It says that the minister’s behavior does not help raise the image of the education sector, especially that a school principal may be sacked because of a false letter or a complaint. -0-
