YEREVAN, March 29. /ARKA/. The Electrical Networks of Armenia (ENA), the Russian-owned Armenia’s power distributor, together with a children's magazine "Multishok" presented a book of guidelines for school students on safety rules when working with electricity.

The manual tells about the sources and ways of generating electricity, as well as how to work safely will electricity and how to deliver first aid to people struck by electricity.

"Adults are always trying to protect their children from being struck by electricity, often without explaining what it is, and what is dangerous. Our task is to tell about it in an understandable and accessible language," the founder of the Multishok magazine, Mamikon Simonyan, told reporters.

He also noted that the manual can be useful not only for children but also for many adults, who are often not sufficiently informed about the benefits and dangers of electricity. The booklet will be distributed free in over 500 schools throughout Armenia.

The Electrical Networks of Armenia is a 100% subsidiary of Russian JSC INTER RAO UES. It has an exclusive license for the transmission and distribution of electricity to about 950,000 customers.-0-
