Mary-Jean O’Doherty Vasmatzian is the fifth confirmed member of the band Genealogy that will represent Armenia in the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest with Don't Deny. She will represent Australia in the project.
YEREVAN, March 3, /ARKA/. Mary-Jean O’Doherty Vasmatzian is the fifth confirmed member of the band Genealogy that will represent Armenia in the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest with Don't Deny. She will represent Australia in the project.
Stephanie Topalian, Essaï Altounian, Vahe Tilbian and Tamar Kaprelian have already been announced as members of the group Genealogy. They represent Asia, Europe, Africa and America respectively. Thus, only one more member representing Armenia itself is left to be officially announced.
Peace, unity and tolerance - that will be the key message of the Armenian entry in the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest. Inspired by the symbol of a forget-me-not flower and of Building Bridges, the slogan of the contest, a wholly new concept was born.
The idea is to unite a new generation of Armenians on stage whose families once spread all over the world in the year 1915.
The Eurovision-2015 will be held in the Austrian capital Vienna. Ukraine, Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovakia, Turkey, Liechtenstein and Luxembourg have refused to take part in the competition for different reasons.
The semi-finals of the contest will be held on May 19 and 21 and the finale on May 23. Armenia will perform in the first semi-final.-0-
