YEREVAN, November 5. /ARKA/. Films from more than 40 countries participate in LISTAPAD international film festival in Minsk held on November 1-8, the event initiators told ARKA.

Best films of the year with awards from key international festivals held in Europe and CIS are presented in Minsk, according to the report. The festival hosts films from over 40 countries, including Belarus, Russia, France, Germany, Poland, Ukraine, Romania, Croatia, Spain, Israel, Serbia, Georgia, Finland, Philippines, Thailand and China.

Recent films of such well-known producers as Abdellatif Kechiche, Hirokadzu Core-Eda, Paolo Sorrentino and others are on various demonstration lists. Among honorable guests of LISTAPAD-2013 are Claire Denis, Brillante Mendoza, Kira Muratova, Daniel and Diego Vega.

Representatives of more than 100 mass media outlets from Russia, Ukraine, Poland, Germany, France, Great Britain, United States and other countries got accredited for covering the festival.
