Former Lori region governor appointed chief of police of Armenia

Former Lori Region Governor of Armenia Aram Ghazaryan has been appointed Chief of Police, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic reports.

YEREVAN, June 3. /ARKA/. Former Lori Region Governor of Armenia Aram Ghazaryan has been appointed Chief of Police, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic reports. The corresponding decree was signed on Tuesday by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
Ghazaryan announced the day before that he was leaving the post of governor. He replaced Police Major General Aram Hovhannisyan, who was dismissed and released from service in the Police, as Chief of Police.
