Armenia’s health ministry has announced the Month of Women’s Health, which will last from March 8 to April 7.

YEREVAN, February 27. /ARKA/. Armenia’s health ministry has announced the Month of Women’s Health, which will last from March 8 to April 7.

Deputy Health Minister Vahan Poghosyan, speaking today at a news conference, said some medical centers in the country’s capital and all provinces will provide free treatment to women as part of this campaign.

In his words, free medical examinations and surgeries will be available to women as well.

Karine Saribekyan, chief of the health ministry’s maternal newborn and child health division, on her, side, said that women will have free services not only from gynecologists and obstetricians, but also from doctors working in other fields.

She also said that measures will be taken to enhance public awareness of women’s health.

The medical centers providing free services at the mentioned period of time and the hours set for accepting patients will be available on the health ministry’s website. --0---
