Government approves rise in investigators' salaries

The Armenian government has approved today a set of amendments to the law that regulates remuneration of persons holding public posts, which call for raising the salaries of employees of the Investigative Committee.
YEREVAN, April 21. /ARKA/. The Armenian government has approved today a set of amendments to the law that regulates remuneration of persons holding public posts, which call for raising the salaries of employees of the Investigative Committee.
According to the amendments, the salaries are to increase by 92%. In determining the amount of rise the government took into account the need for a single, non-differentiated approach in respect of civil servants, whose work contains risks and requires high qualifications.
Earlier it was reported that after the passage of the amendments, the budget would have to earmark 3.12 drams to pay higher salaries to 975 investigators. ($1 - 387.21 drams). --0--
