Government releases 213.8 million drams to support education excellence program

The Armenian government decided today to provide 213.8 million drams to AYB Educational Fund. The money will be released from the government’s reserve fund, education and science minister Armen Ashotyan said.

YEREVAN, October 16. / ARKA /. The Armenian government decided today to provide 213.8 million drams to AYB Educational Fund. The money will be released from the government’s reserve fund, education and science minister Armen Ashotyan said.
According to him, AYB Educational Foundation in collaboration with the University of Cambridge and the London Institute of Education is launching a national program of education excellence.
He said the 10-year program is designed to license about 2,000 teachers. The program will create a school system that will encourages the use of new approaches to teaching,” said Ashotyan.-0—
