YEREVAN, April 7. /ARKA/. Hayastan All-Armenian Fund has sent $14,545 to Armenians of Kessab, the press office of the Fund reported Friday.

Turkey, in violation of the international laws and commitments, opened recently a fire at Armenian-populated villages in Kessab of Syria and let the rebellions take over the region. Civilian population of Kessab, including some 700 Armenian families, had to flee to neighboring Latakia. Armenian launched #SaveKessab campaign all over the world to make the global community aware of the tragic events. The money raised by the Fund has been transferred to account of Armenian embassy to Syria and will be handed to Armenians of Kessab.

The Fund has urged Armenians all over the world to help compatriots surviving a tragedy, according to the report.
