Lilit Grigoryan, who served as deputy prosecutor of the Armenian capital, has been appointed as new prosecutor of Yerevan.

Lilit Grigoryan Appointed as New Yerevan Prosecutor

YEREVAN, November 21. /ARKA/. Lilit Grigoryan, who served as deputy prosecutor of the Armenian capital, has been appointed as new prosecutor of Yerevan. She is the first ever woman to serve in that capacity.

The decree on her appointment was signed by Armenia's Prosecutor General Anna Vardapetyan, the press service of the agency reported. Anna Vardapetyan is also the first woman to serve as Prosecutor General of Armenia.

Lilit Grigoryan has been working at prosecutor's office since 1996, first as an intern, then as an investigator, assistant prosecutor, senior prosecutor and from 2013 to 2022 as deputy prosecutor of Yerevan. --0--
