Middle East Airlines to fly home Armenian citizens from Lebanon

The Armenian Embassy in Lebanon said the Middle East Airlines will operate a special flight on May 4 to fly home Armenian citizens, staying currently in Lebanon.
YEREVAN, April 27. /ARKA/. The Armenian Embassy in Lebanon said the Middle East Airlines will operate a special flight on May 4 to fly home Armenian citizens, staying currently in Lebanon.
The Embassy said given the restrictions imposed by the Lebanese government against the spread of coronavirus, Armenian citizens wishing to return to their homeland must register at the Armenian Embassy in Lebanon by April 29 as soon as possible.
To register at the embassy, citizens should send passport data to the email address at armconsulatelebanon@mfa.am or to the embassy's hotline + 961 3 157 305 through the Whatsapp application.
The embassy reminded that citizens arriving in Armenia will be placed under mandatory 14-day quarantine. For further clarification, they can contact the embassy at the hotline number + 961 3 157 305.
A 30-day state of emergency to curb the spread of coronavirus was declared in Armenia on March 16. The government also imposed restrictions on free movement of citizens and banned some types of economic activity. On April 13, the government extended the state of emergency for another month, reopening also some businesses.
As of April 27, Armenia's confirmed cases of Covid 19 grew to 1,808; 848 patients have recovered and 29 people have died. -0-
