YEREVAN, April 15. /ARKA/. The Civil Aviation Committee has announced that all general aviation flights will be banned in Armenian airspace from May 3 to 5, 2026, due to safety issues.
"In light of the significant events planned in the Republic of Armenia during this period, including the 8th European Political Community Summit, the 1st Armenia-EU Summit, and the Yerevan Dialogue Forum, along with the expected attendance of numerous foreign delegations, we would like to inform that all general aviation flights, including those of civilian unmanned aerial vehicles, will be prohibited in Armenian airspace from May 3 to 5, 2026, for safety reasons," the committee stated. -0-
