Number of COVID 19 infected people in Armenia reaches 937 – 16 new cases

As of 11 a.m. Friday, April 10, 937 confirmed cases of infection with COVID 19 were recorded in Armenia, the website of the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention reported. Thus, the number of newly confirmed cases was 16.

According to the center, there are 149 cured patients and 11 deaths in the country. In total, 5,144 tests were negative for the coronavirus. The number of patients undergoing treatment is 777.
The Armenian government has declared a state of emergency in the country from March 16 to April 14 in a bid to prevent the spread of the coronavirus COVID-19. Movement restrictions are among the measures taken to curb the spread of the virus. Restrictions are also imposed on some kinds of economic activities. -0---
