Over 19,000 real estate transactions made in Armenia in May. Their number decreased over the month.

YEREVAN, July 9. /ARKA/. According to the National Statistical Committee, 19,191 real estate transactions were made in Armenia in May 2025, compared to 20,497 transactions in May 2024 and 20,573 transactions in April 2025.
The largest number of transactions were made in Yerevan — 5,728 (29.8% of the total) — and the least were made in Vayots Dzor — 357 (1.9%).
Real estate alienation transactions prevailed, accounting for 35.9% of the total. This category included 4,683 purchase and sale transactions, 1,878 donations, and 54 exchanges.
Additionally, 3,552 inheritance transactions (17.5%), 3,242 primary registration transactions (16.9%), 2,721 pledge transactions (14.2%), 1,851 re-registration transactions (9.6%), 972 lease transactions (5.1%), and 158 legalization transactions (0.8%) were completed.
Of the total number of transactions on the real estate market in May, the largest number were transactions involving land (39.6%), followed by transactions involving apartments in multi-apartment buildings (25%), residential buildings (21%), public buildings (7.7%), garages (4.6%), and industrial buildings (2.1%).
