Passenger traffic in Armenia in Jan-March 2016, compared with the same period a year before, shrank 1.2% to 50 178.5 million people, the National Statistical Service reports.
YEREVAN, May 5. /ARKA/. Passenger traffic in Armenia in Jan-March 2016, compared with the same period a year before, shrank 1.2% to 50 178.5 million people, the National Statistical Service reports.
According to the statistical report, motor transport dominates here accounting for 89.6% of the total passenger traffic or 44 936.5 million.
Electric transport’s share in the country’s total passenger traffic was 9.5% of the total passenger traffic or 4 779.8 million people.
Some 388,400 people (0.8%) were carried by aircrafts and 73,800 (0.1%) by trains in Jan-March 2016. --0----
