Passenger tried to smuggle hash oil and marijuana into Armenia (video)

YEREVAN, April 7. /ARKA/. The officers of the anti-smuggling department of Armenia's State Revenue Committee (SRC) together with colleagues from the Eastern Customs House found recently 56 bottles of various sizes with a yellow-greenish mass with a pungent smell, similar to hash oil, as well as 5 plastic bottles and boxes with a yellow-greenish substance similar to marijuana in the luggage of a passenger, who arrived in Armenia aboard Washington-Doha flight, SRC said.
It said the investigation department of the State Revenue Committee has initiated a criminal case to find out other circumstances of the smuggling attempt.
A suspect or accused of an alleged crime is presumed innocent until proven guilty according to a court ruling that has entered into legal force, in accordance with the procedure established by the Criminal Procedure Code of Armenia. -0-
