Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan conveyed today his congratulations to the head of the Armenian Apostolic Church, Catholicos Karkein II, in connection with his birthday anniversary during a telephone conversation, Sargsyan’s press office reported.

YEREVAN, August 21. / ARKA /. Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan conveyed today his congratulations to the head of the Armenian Apostolic Church, Catholicos Karkein II, in connection with his birthday anniversary during a telephone conversation, Sargsyan’s press office reported.

"The president congratulated His Holiness on his birthday, wishing him good health and boundless energy in implementing his high mission of spiritual service", the press office said.

Commending the Catholicos of All Armenians for his input into strengthening and prosperity of the Holy Armenian Apostolic Church, the president wished that Karekin II with God's help, continue his patriotic activity for the benefit of the Armenian Church and the Armenian people. -0-
