Prime minister Pashinyan attends reopening of renovated medical center in Dilijan

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan traveled today to the resort town of Dilijan in Tavush province to attend the reopening ceremony of the local medical center which has undergone a major reconstruction and technical re-equipment, the government press office said.
YEREVAN, December 24. /ARKA/. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan traveled today to the resort town of Dilijan in Tavush province to attend the reopening ceremony of the local medical center which has undergone a major reconstruction and technical re-equipment, the government press office said.
The medical center is closely cooperating with leading medical centers in the capital city Yerevan. It is also involved in government-funded healthcare programs.
In 2019, the Dilijan Medical Center was allocated 275 million drams to perform free and preferential medical services . The medical center has also a primary health care unit, a maternity hospital and an ambulance service.
Dilijan medical center serves about 25 thousand residents of the town and six adjacent communities. It has 175 employees, including 30 doctors. If necessary, another 35 doctors will be brought from the capital Yerevan.
The medical facility was renovated, modern equipment was installed, which will contribute to increasing the level of diagnostic, laboratory, endoscopic, surgical, obstetric, gynecological, therapeutic, outpatient and inpatient services. ($1 - 479.15 drams) .-- 0--
