The earthquake of magnitude 5.0 that shook the area 14 kilometers far from Baku, Azerbaijan, on Monday at 08:46 was felt also in Armenia and Karabakh, the press office of the Armenian emergency ministry reports.

YEREVAN, August 1. /ARKA/. The earthquake of magnitude 5.0 that shook the area 14 kilometers far from Baku, Azerbaijan, on Monday at 08:46 was felt also in Armenia and Karabakh, the press office of the Armenian emergency ministry reports.
Strength of the shocks in the epicenter was 6 to 7 on the Richter scale. The earthquake hypocenter was at the depth of 10 kilometers.
The tremors were felt in Stepanakert, the capital city of Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (3 to 4) and in Armenia’s Syunik, Vayots Dzor and Gegharkunik provinces as well as in Yerevan (2 to 3). --0---
