Samvel Shahramanyan, who briefly served as president of Nagorno-Karabakh before its takeover by Azerbaijan in September 2023, said today that he has asked Armenia's Anti-Corruption Committee to investigate reports of financial crimes allegedly committed by Karabakh officials.

Samvel Shahramanyan, who briefly served as president of Nagorno-Karabakh before its takeover by Azerbaijan in September 2023, said today that he has asked Armenia's Anti-Corruption Committee to investigate reports of financial crimes allegedly committed by Karabakh officials.
Speaking to reportersd, Haramanyan said he was summoned to the Anti-Corruption Committee as a witness as part of investigation into a number of criminal cases.
"It is very important for us to get answers to these questions, and if there are those responsible, they should be punished," he said. -0-
