YEREVAN, October 30. /ARKA/. The Armenian labor and social affairs ministry urges residents of the two Armenian republics who need help or are ready to provide it, not to create useless excitement and instead of publishing announcements for help on social networks, contact the ministry directly.
"In such cases, instead of writing something in social networks, call the hotline numbers 114 and 117. The fact that the hotline may be overloaded and your call will not be answered immediately is normal amid war. Therefore, instead of posting in the social network, I urge you to immediately contact the department," Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Affairs of Armenia Tatevik Stepanyan said.
She stressed that all applications are completed online, entered into the program, and a response is provided within an hour. Also, according to her, you can contact the hotline for the provision of the necessary means of assistance to people with disabilities (wheelchairs, walkers, etc.).
"If there are citizens who find themselves on the street and do not know where to go, I urge them to approach Hrachia Nersisyan, 14/1 (Temporary Residence Center) without unnecessary excitement, whose doors are open around the clock, and where you can get help," the deputy minister said.
Stepanyan said that since the beginning of the war, the ministry has been working around the clock, and there is no need to attract additional forces.
“I ask citizens not to create useless excitement. This is a systematic process that has appointed responsible persons and mechanisms for rapid response,” the deputy minister said.
Stepanyan also thanked all groups of self-mobilized citizens from the social and business sectors, who provide unprecedented assistance to those in need. She stressed that the ministry cooperates with these groups and coordinates their activities.
War in Artsakh
Since September 27, Azerbaijani troops have been carrying out military aggression along the entire length of the contact line in Artsakh, conducting artillery and rocket attacks, including against civilians and civilian infrastructures. Strikes were also carried out at civilian and military targets on the territory of Armenia.
The Azerbaijani side is supported by the Turkish Armed Forces and the foreign terrorist mercenaries recruited by it. The Turkish-Azerbaijani aggression encounters a decisive rebuff from the Armenian Armed Forces along the entire frontline.
According to the official reports on the Armenian side, Azerbaijan sustains huge losses in manpower. Its death toll since the beginning of the war is 6,854. Also 223UAVs, 16 helicopters and 25 aircraft have been downed as well as 632 armored vehicles and 6 TOS units have been destroyed since the beginning of war. More than 1,110 Armenian servicemen have been killed and several hundred people were wounded. As a result of the war crimes committed by Azerbaijan, 39 civilians were killed and 122 wounded in Artsakh.
Since the beginning of the war, there have been three attempts to establish a humanitarian ceasefire. All three agreements, which were reached on October 10 through the mediation of the Russian Federation, on October 17 through France and on October 25 through the mediation of the United States, were violated by Azerbaijan. -0--
