Some 230 people released from hospitals in Armenia after recovering from acute respiratory diseases

On Thursday, 230 patients were released from hospitals in Armenia after recovering from acute respiratory infections, 177 of them were children under the age of 18, the press service of the ministry of health said.

YEREVAN, January 22. / ARKA /. On Thursday, 230 patients were released from hospitals in Armenia after recovering from acute respiratory infections, 177 of them were children under the age of 18, the press service of the ministry of health said.  Of them 120, including 32 children, had been diagnosed to have pneumonia. 

The permanent monitoring of the situation with acute respiratory diseases and influenza shows the situation is stable with severe cases of the disease tending to decrease, the ministry said. 

Eighteen people have died from H1N1 swine flu in Armenia in the last two months, the country's health ministry said on Thursday, but it said also there was no risk of a mass outbreak.-0-
