YEREVAN, April 10. /ARKA/. Spring flood levels in 2026 are predicted to be within normal limits, stated Levon Azizyan, Director of the National Weather Center.

"Spring flood runoff volumes in 2026 will be within normal limits—100-130%, with 140-160% in some rivers," Azizyan noted at a press conference on Friday.

He stated that precipitation levels in Armenia are expected to be close to normal in April-June 2026.

"In April, the average monthly air temperature will be one degree below normal, while in May and June, it will be up to one degree above normal." As a result, the hydrometeorological conditions predicted for these months will influence the formation of floods at levels close to normal," Azizyan said.
