YEREVAN, October 5, /ARKA/. Armenia's National Weather Service said no rains are expected on October 5-8, while October 9 will see short rains and thunderstorms in most of the country, including the capital Yerevan.

The speed of the western winds will be 2-5 m/s. The temperature will rise by 2-4 degrees on October 5. On Wednesday afternoon the temperature in Yerevan will rise to 30-32 degrees Celsius.

The highest ever temperature on this in Yerevan was recorded in 1998 when it rose to 29 degrees.

From Thursday to Saturday, the temperature in Yerevan will fluctuate between 26-31 degrees, and on Sunday it will drop to 20-22 degrees. -0-
