YEREVAN, July 6. /ARKA/. Temperatures across Armenia will gradually rise by 4-6 degrees by the end of the week, the Armenian Weather Service reported.

It said no rains are expected on July 6-7 and 9-10, but short rains with thunderstorms are possible in some parts of the country on July 8 noon.

The speed of the south-eastern wind is 2-5 m/s. It may accelerate to 17-22 m/s during thunderstorms. In the Ararat Valley the wind's speed may grow to 15-20 m/s in the evening.

In the capital Yerevan the temperature will rise to 36-37 degrees Celsius by the end of the week. On July 6-10 the weather is expected to be without precipitation with winds reaching 15-20 meters/second in the evenings. -0-
