Tourism Committee of Armenia discussed expanding cooperation with Air Arabia

YEREVAN, March 31. /ARKA/. The head of the Armenian Tourism Committee, Lusine Gevorgyan, discussed cooperation opportunities with Evgeniy Danisenko, a representative of Air Arabia in Armenia, ahead of the launch of the flight between Abu Dhabi and Yerevan, scheduled to start on June 1, 2025.

The two sides agreed to closely cooperate in organizing the new flight and to make joint efforts to achieve positive results, according to the press service of the RA Tourism Committee.

They also discussed the implementation of marketing activities and the establishment of partnerships with leading tour operators in Abu Dhabi to properly showcase Armenia and its tourism potential, as well as to ensure tourist flows in both directions.

Additionally, current challenges and steps to address them were discussed.

The Emirati low-cost airline, Air Arabia Abu Dhabi, was established in October 2019 as a joint venture between Etihad Airways and Air Arabia. Based at Zayed International Airport in Abu Dhabi, it began actual operations in July 2020.
