VTB Bank (Armenia) pays 2.1 billion drams of government lump-sum assistance to 40,000 beneficiaries

VTB Bank (Armenia) is involved in the implementation of government-designed social programs aimed at eliminating the consequences of the coronavirus pandemic.

YEREVAN, April 28. /ARKA/. VTB Bank (Armenia) is involved in the implementation of government-designed social programs aimed at eliminating the consequences of the coronavirus pandemic.
The bank said as of April 28, 2020, some 2.1 billion drams of government support (70% of the amount payable through the bank) were paid to 40 thousand citizens in need of support through its branches.
In accordance with government programs No. 4, 6, 7, 8, and 9, VTB Bank (Armenia) will pay lump-sum benefits to 50 thousand citizens in the amount of 3 billion drams.
According to the program, one-time urgent benefits can be received both in cash at 72 branches of VTB Bank (Armenia) throughout Armenia, and non-cash - by crediting the benefits to the beneficiaries' banking cards. The bank said for this they need to enter their card data online in advance by visiting www.ssa.am.
Under the conditions of coronavirus, the bank recommends that its customers choose the non-cash method of obtaining and further using benefits in order to minimize contact with physical bills.
