The Armenian Weather Service has warned of a high-level fire hazard in the Ararat, Vayots Dzor and Synik provinces and in the capital city Yerevan.
YEREVAN, August 11. /ARKA/. The Armenian Weather Service has warned of a high-level fire hazard in the Ararat, Vayots Dzor and Synik provinces and in the capital city Yerevan.
It said also that in the afternoon on August 11-15 rains and thunderstorms are possible in some parts of the country.
The wind will be blowing from the southwest at a speed of 5-10 meters per second. During a thunderstorm gusts of wind can reach 15-20 meters per second. The air temperature the day before increased by 2-4 degrees.
In Yerevan, on August 10-15, short thunderstorms and rains are expected in the evening and at night. From Wednesday to Sunday, the air temperature in the capital will fluctuate between 33-36 degrees. -0-
