Yerevan to host European People’s Party Eastern Partnership summit

The second summit of leaders of European People’s Party (EPP) Eastern Partnership is to be held in Yerevan today, under joint initiative of the EPP and the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA), the press service of the Republican Party reported.

YEREVAN, November 30. /ARKA/. The second summit of leaders of European People’s Party (EPP) Eastern Partnership is to be held in Yerevan today, under joint initiative of the EPP and the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA), the press service of the Republican Party reported.
The summit will be attended by Armenian President and leader of the RPA Serzh Sargsyan, Georgia’s President Mikhail Sahakashvili, Prime-Minister of Moldova Vladimir Filat, Chairman of the EPP Wilfred Martens and President of the European Commission Jose Manuel Barroso.
Among issues and matters on the agenda are Eastern partnership processes and bilateral meetings.
The Republican Party of Armenia has an observer status in the EPP; the same status was given to Armenian Orinats Yerkir and Heritage parties. -0-
