DigiTec Business forum is to be held in Armenia on June 26-27. The forum is to present opportunities of IT application in business in Armenia.
YEREVAN, June 25. /ARKA/. DigiTec Business forum is to be held in Armenia on June 26-27.
The forum is to present opportunities of IT application in business in Armenia. The forum is also to promote introduction of IT technologies in various fields of economy to raise business productivity and competitiveness both inside the country and abroad, Executive Director of the Union of Information Technology Enterprises (UITE) Karen Vardanian said.
The main aim of the forum is to suggest possible business solutions – management tools, marketing, networking and web design. The forum is not only to discuss issues, but also to provide consultants to companies for consideration of IT-based business prospects.
Leading companies are to hold presentations and tête-à-tête business discussions are to be held at the closed forum.
In the scope of the forum, a Microsoft Innovations Forum is to be held for introducing the opportunities innovations can provide to individuals, state agencies and business companies.
It has been decided to unite the traditional Microsoft Innovation Day with the DighiTec Business this year as most of the solutions, products and services based on Microsoft platforms and to be presented at the forum are used mainly in the business sphere of Armenia, Microsoft Armenia Country Manager Grigor Barseghian said in his interview to ARKA Agency.
About 3,000 businessmen and public agents are expected to participate in the forum. An exhibition will be held in the scope of the forum to display IT solutions for banking and financial sector, mining industry, small and medium business, tourism, trade and warehousing, construction, transport, cargo transportation, medicine and pharmaceutics, and etc.
