Ameriabank presents its digital transformation experience at Doing Digital Forum in Yerevan
YEREVAN, April 5. /ARKA/. Ameriabank is currently on the way to digital transformation, Artem Shamtsyan, Ameriabank’s Director for Innovation and Digitalization, told journalists on the sidelines of Doing Digital Forum in Yerevan.
According to him, Doing Digital Forum is an opportunity for the bank to share its experience.
"Ameriabank has gone through three stages of transformation: a consulting bank, a corporate bank, a bank based on digital technologies. We have gone through these changes, having implemented all relevant digital solutions in line with international criteria and trends," he stressed.
Armine Ghazaryan, Talent Management and Services Director at Ameriabank, said in her welcoming speech that the driving force behind the digital transformation are people.
"We have a strong human capital, which is a solid foundation for Armenia to become a new regional hub for technology and innovation. And what will lead us to this hub? Technology? No, technology is not enough. The answer is people," she said.
SPRING PR co-founder Tatevik Simonyan said the Doing Digital platform was created to encourage active discussions on trends in digital transformation, business development, opportunities and challenges that all digital transformation players face today.
"The purpose of the forum is to unite the ecosystem and to showcase Armenia as a hub for innovation, emerging technologies and digital transformation. Now is the right time to talk about the work and experience that companies have on the path of digital transformation, as well as awareness of the challenges," she said.
Simonyan said that the forum is planned to be held annually, and also provide a platform to foreign guests and local specialists to exchange experience.
Ameriabank is a co-organizer of Doing Digital Forum, organized by SPRING PR company. The event is aimed at disclosing the latest trends in digital transformation and exchanging experience.
