YEREVAN, August 10. /ARKA/. Ethnic Armenians rank second among founders of unicorn companies in the United States with immigrant participation.

According to the National Foundation for American Policy, the majority of private unicorn startups in the U.S. worth more than $1 billion have at least one immigrant founder.

According to the statistics, India ranks first, with immigrants from this country having founded 66 unicorn companies, followed by Israel with 54 companies.

Immigrants from Armenia founded 2 unicorn companies (photo and video editor Picsart, founded by Artavazd Meghrabyan and Hovhannes Avoyan, and software developer for service companies ServiceTitan, founded by Ara Magdesyan and Vahe Kuzoyan). -0-
