Black Sea countries have shared their energy saving experience with Armenia in the course of discussions aimed at development of a joint program of actions at their gathering in Yerevan, according to Tamara Babayan, the director of the Renewable Energy and Energy Conservation Armenia program.

YEREVAN, December 9. / ARKA /. Black Sea countries have shared their energy saving experience with Armenia in the course of discussions aimed at development of a joint program of actions at their gathering in Yerevan, according to Tamara Babayan, the director of the Renewable Energy and Energy Conservation Armenia program.
 
She said the Joint program of actions for 2007-2013 is implemented with the financial support of the European Union. 

The purpose of the program is to stimulate cross-border cooperation in energy conservation for economic and social development. Two previous meeting were held in Turkey and Russia.

She said more than 20 experts have arrived in Yerevan for the third working meeting. Armenia is represented by government officials, banking experts and representatives of local authorities.
Babayan said specialists from Hungary, Moldova, Turkey and Ukraine will present their countries' experience in energy conservation. -0-
