YEREVAN, November 4. /ARKA/. The Armenian government will show support to an investment project, designed to build a solar power plant in the Astghadzor community of Gegharkunik region, the government press service reported.
It said the government approved today the application of AS Energy LLC seeking a customs duty relief on the import of equipment for the future plant.
The company plans to build and operate a solar power plant with an installed capacity of 5 MW.
The total amount of investments required for the construction, testing and operation of the plant is estimated at bout 1.65 billion drams. The company will create 4 new jobs with a salary of 250 thousand drams.
The annual electricity output is supposed to be worth 230 million drams. The cost of equipment the company wants to import is 312.6 million drams. The customs duty exemption will be 30.6 million drams. ($1 - 476.22 drams). --0--
