Pashinyan holds consultation on Armenia-Georgia power transmission line construction project

YEREVAN, October 30. /ARКА/. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan held a consultative meeting today to discuss progress in the implementation of the Armenia-Georgia Power Transmission Line Construction Project under the Caucasian Power Transmission Network Program.

The government's press office said the meeting reviewed issues related to project funding and organizing a tender for construction work as part of cooperation with the German KFW Bank.

Reference was made to the construction of Ddmashen and Ayrum substations under the Armenia-Georgia Power Transmission Line Project and the steps to take in this direction.

When the construction of the third high-voltage power line  (400 kV) between Armenia and Iran, the construction of the fourth power line (400 kV) between Armenia and Georgia  and the construction of the Yerevan TPP is over,  uninterrupted supply of electricity to Armenia's neighboring countries will become more reliable making Armenia an important regional player in this market. -0-
